Tangent Automation

At Tangent Solutions, we believe intelligent automation is a strategic differentiator for any organisation. Automation can integrate your organisation’s disparate systems and business processes to create a cohesive digital operations environment – and in parallel, generate and extract considerably higher business value from your existing technology investments.

End-to-end automation means going beyond the automation of your current business processes by using data and insights from automation efforts to inform how your business should run in the future. You can enable an entire digital workforce to operate alongside employees, freeing people up to act on these insights and add true value.

Through a Blend of Automation Solutions,
Tangent Assists Organisations to:

Grow revenue By
Augmenting Your Workforce

Through a combination of automation processes, utilising a range of technologies and coding practices, the organisation benefits from an always-on digital workforce.

Establish leaner
delivery models

Straight-through processing means connecting departments or vendors seamlessly and with reduced human intervention.

Achieve processing
efficiency

Reducing human intervention means significantly faster execution, considerable reduction in error rates and far lower overheads.

Shift to an
engaged workforce

Less focus on mundane tasks frees employees up to focus on more strategic and meaningful work.

Reduce costs by
mitigating human error

Less pressure on employees for repetitive work, fewer overtime hours and less penalties from SLA failures means lower costs to the organisation.

Create resilience
and scalability

Quickly add more processing capacity with a 24-hour digital workforce, supporting your 9-5 team.

Reduce Risk and
Improve Compliance

Less manual intervention and extensive process data captured through audit logs significantly provides insights into end-to-end organisational processes and enables better governance.

Enhance Customer
Engagement

AI-driven virtual assistants allow for 24/7 omnichannel customer interactions with reduced first response times, enabling personalised responses and improved user experience at lower operating costs.

Robotic Process Automation

Robotic Process Automation
is the use of software to automate repetitive processes, which would be performed
by a human.

Key Benefits:

RPA involves the use of next generation technologies to improve processing capability, efficiency and accuracy.  Processes can be automated if they meet the following criteria:

  • Repetitive
  • Manual
  • Rule-based
  • Electronic or machine-readable inputs
  • Stable systems
  • Prone to error
  • High data volumes processed
  • High human resource dependency

Intelligent Document Processing

Through IDP, enterprises can
increase efficiency, significantly
improve customer experience,
and eliminate an often
mundane and repetitive
task from their human

Key Benefits:

At Tangent, we deliver IDP solutions through a combination of technologies and approaches including:

  • Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
  • Machine Learning
  • Computer Vision
  • Artificial Intelligence

AI-driven virtual assistants

AI-driven virtual assistants are chatbots developed on no or
low-code authoring platforms enabling conversation automation.

Key Benefits:

With this conversational AI technology, organisations can:

  • Significantly improve internal employee productivity through
automation of back office and internal processes such as HR, IT helpdesk, order management and much more.
  • Revolutionise customer engagement through the automation of customer service functions, from live chat to managing orders, payment updates and more across multiple channels such as WhatsApp, Email, Facebook and Telegram to name a few.

Business Process
and Workflow Management

Workflow automation involves
designing, visualising,
automating and optimising
these tasks through
technology.

Key Benefits:

  • A process workflow is a series of activities required to complete tasks that are performed in succession or in parallel between people, technology and data, based on pre-defined rules.
  • This brings visibility to an organisation’s processes, helps to eliminate bottlenecks and improves compliance, as processes are documented in a platform.
  • In addition, workflow automation helps with cross functional collaboration and connects employees, customers and suppliers.

Automation FAQs

Q

What is the Difference Between RPA and BPM?

A

BPM (Business Process Management) assists in process optimisation by reducing cycle time through process mapping and re-engineering. This involves a longer time to implement at higher costs as the process is more complex and requires change management within the business. RPA, however, is a much simpler solution as it is targeted to specific solutions. RPA is a tool used to automate a process based on the specific rules and demands of a process.

Q

How does RPA Technology Interact with my Current Processes and Systems?

A

The access given to the bot is typically the same front-end access as given to the user of the system. The bot will navigate through the systems and interact in a similar fashion. For additional speed, efficiency and resilience improvements, the bot can connect to a systems Application Programming Interface (API) to perform the same process as done using the front-end interface.

Q

Is it Possible for a Human to be Included in an Automation Process ?

A

Yes, we can add a human in the loop by sending them an email and using the reply in the process. It is also an option to include a Business Process Management tool to add more interactivity with the process.
